Eligible for DES?

If you have a disability, injury, or health condition that impacts how much you can work, you may be able to join Disability Employment Services (DES).

To be eligible, you must be:

• living with a disability, injury, or health condition that affects your ability to work
• an Australian resident aged from 14 to 67
• at or above the minimum legal working age in your state or territory
• receiving an income support payment or Disability Support Pension
• able to work between eight to 30 hours per week (with support if needed)
• not studying full time (unless you’re an eligible school leaver)
• not already working at or above your assessed work capacity
