Who can join Inclusive Employment Australia?
Inclusive Employment Australia is designed for people who need support to prepare for, find, or keep a job because of a disability, injury, or health condition.
You may be eligible if:
- You have a disability, injury, or health condition that affects your ability to work.
- You are an Australian resident aged 14 to 67.
- You have reached the minimum legal working age in your state or territory.
- You can work between 0 and 30 hours per week, with support if needed.
- You are not studying full time, unless you are an eligible school leaver.
- You are not already working at or above your assessed work capacity.
You may also be eligible if you are an NDIS participant or a school leaver with disability.

How to register
1. Contact APM
Click Register now and fill in your details and we’ll be in touch. Or you can visit your nearest APM Employment Services office or call us on 1800 276 276 to discuss your eligibility.
2. Discuss your support needs
We'll talk with you about your circumstances and explain the services and support that may be available.
3. Complete any required assessments
We may let you know if you need an Employment Services Assessment (ESAt) through Centrelink. This assessment helps determine the support you need and the types of jobs that may suit you.
4. Start your employment journey
Once you're eligible, we'll connect you with a dedicated employment consultant who will help you build a plan to achieve your employment goals.
Understanding the eligibility requirements
Disability, injury, or health condition
Inclusive Employment Australia is available to people whose disability, injury, or health condition impacts their ability to work.
Age requirements
You must be between 14 and 67 years old and meet the minimum legal working age requirements in your state or territory.
Work capacity
You must be assessed as being able to work from a few hours up to 30 hours each week, with support if needed.
Studying
Generally, participants cannot be studying full time. However, eligible school leavers may still be able to access the program.
Current employment
You may not be eligible if you are already working at or above your assessed work capacity.
