Elisa and Ingeus Spain transcript

Elena: I am Elena Cerda, I work as a labour advisor at Ingeus, and I am here to talk about Elisa. It has been a pleasure to meet Elisa, to work with her. She has been a really easy person to help and support. She started without a curriculum vitae, so it was the first thing we did. Also, we had a very long talk about her extensive work career and with these two parts we started. We created her curriculum.

Montse: Hello, my name is Montse Salas and I work as a social advisor for Ingeus. Elisa is a 62 year old woman, self-employed worker, dedicated to street vending. So, when the COVID-19 pandemic arrived, she ran out of income. She is in charge of her brother, who is mentally ill and has no income, and her 82 year old mother.

Elisa: Hello, my name is Elisa Castro Iglesias. I want to talk about my experience in the Ingeus project. I have done digital training with them that I really liked because I have learned new tools that help me in my daily life. I have learned to use Zoom, to use the computer toolbar and the most important thing, to search for work on the internet.

Elena: Her mood has improved, her attitude has always been excellent. We just have given her wings.

Montse: Working with Elisa is easy, we guide her to contact the social resources and search the information and she does all the necessary paperwork by herself. I have guided her, but she solved everything with agility from processing the guaranteed income, social benefit for the self-employers, the payment of the rent etc. She is reinventing herself.

Elena: Thanks to her, her work, her contacts, she found a job which was our goal. She has done everything by herself. I am very happy to have met you, Elisa.

Montse: I am thankful to have worked with you and have met you, Elisa.

Elisa: I am very grateful to have joined this project. I am also grateful for the support of my social advisor Montse and my labour advisor Elena, who have been there helping me. I just want to say that no matter how old you are, it is possible.
