Inclusive Employment Australia supports people with an incredibly diverse range of disabilities, injuries, and health conditions - more than 200 different types each year. 

Whether someone is living with a mental health challenge, a long-term illness, a physical or sensory disability, or a developmental condition, Inclusive Employment Australia aims to give tailored support that meets individual needs.

From visible disabilities to those that are less apparent, we help thousands of Australians access inclusive employment opportunities and build meaningful careers every year.

Depression, anxiety, psychological disorders

34,227 people came to us for support with a mental health condition.

Back injury, limb disorders, osteoarthritis

18,440 people with these and other physical disabilities had support to achieve their goals.


Autism Spectrum Disorder

2,936 people joined APM for employment support with Autism as their primary disability last year.

Cerebral palsy, acquired brain injuries, epilepsy

2,087 people with a neurological disability chose APM for employment support.


Blindness, low vision, hearing loss

1,384 people with sensory disabilities chose APM for support.

Arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes

15,800 people with chronic health conditions or cancer, chose APM for support.


Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities

5,067 people with an intellectual disability joined APM for employment support.

Inclusive Employment Australia replaced the Disability Employment Services program on 1 November 2025.
