APM Futures is a registered NDIS provider delivering employment supports designed to help participants prepare for work, gain employment, and build long-term workplace success.
Types of support
School Leaver Employment Supports
Helping NDIS participants aged 15–22 successfully transition from school into employment and develop the skills needed for future work opportunities.
Finding and Keeping a Job
Support for working-age participants who want to prepare for employment, find work, build workplace skills, and achieve their career goals.
Supports in Employment
Support for participants who are already working but need assistance to achieve goals, remain focused at work, or manage workplace challenges.

School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES)
Thinking about your future after school and transitioning into work?
For NDIS participants aged 15–22 who are preparing to leave school and want support transitioning into employment.
The program focuses on building capacity for work through:
- Career exploration
- Workplace and life skills
- Confidence building
- Community connections
- Group activities
- Real-world work experience
- Resume and interview preparation
- Travel training and workplace independence skills

Finding the right path
We have activities to help build your capacity for employment and prepare for the world of work, instead of just going straight into job searching as soon as school finishes.
We work with you, usually over a period of two years, delivering supports including:
- Establishing a Program of Supports – reviewed every 12 weeks
- A skills and needs assessment
- A service tailored to your goals and aspirations
- Small group support and activities
- Real-world work experience
Finding and Keeping a Job
Already working?
For participants who already have a job but need support to achieve workplace goals or maintain employment.
Support can include:
- Workplace coaching
- On-the-job training
- Assistance with work tasks
- Communication support
- Building workplace skills
- Managing disability-related challenges
- Individual or group workplace support
- Goal setting and career development
Have future career plans?
For working-age participants who want to achieve employment goals and build a career pathway.
Support may include:
- Exploring career options
- Establishing vocational goals

- Transitioning from an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) to open employment
- Preparing for Inclusive Employment Australia pathways

This support is about building a career pathway and making sure you get the support you need to achieve your job goals.
If you’re working with an Australian Disability Enterprise, we can also help you move into open employment.
With Finding and Keeping a Job in your approved plan, we’ll support you to:
- Explore what work would mean for you
- Manage complex barriers to finding sustainable employment
- Transition from an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) to open employment
- Develop a career plan by establishing a vocational identity
